Workshop and discussion with Josef Widl (arable farmer and shaman, Untermarkersdorf) and Bernhard Schmid (Schmid Vine Nursery, Hadres) , followed by music with Bernhard Schmid and Dorfmusik Hadres

on 12th of June 2021, 02.00 pm

Josef Widl has a very large arable farm in the Pulka Valley and plans to convert gradually to agroforestry or forest farming as a measure against soil exhaustion and desiccation. For vine grafting, Bernhard Schmid concentrates on fungus-resistant vines intended to provide the basis for a drastic reduction of sprays in winegrowing. In Hadres, he coordinates climate-improving measures such as tree planting and water projects. Both Josef Widl and Bernhard Schmid discuss their motives, their experiences and proposals. Followed by music with Bernhard Schmid.
